Independent veterinary group Pennard Vets has become the latest practice to join XLVets, taking membership to 71 practices across the UK.
Founded in Sevenoaks in 1890, Pennard Vets operates seven practices across Kent and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care while maintaining its independence. In 2021, the practice became employee-owned, reinforcing its commitment to clinician-led decision making and team involvement.
By joining XLVets, Pennard Vets will collaborate with fellow independently owned practices, sharing knowledge, clinical expertise and practical experience to support continual improvement and help shape the future of the veterinary profession.
Caroline Collins, veterinary surgeon and director at Pennard Vets, said the decision to join XLVets was driven by a shared commitment to independence, collaboration and continuous learning.
XLVets CEO Kerrie Hedley welcomed the practice to the community, highlighting Pennard Vets' enthusiasm for sharing ideas, learning from others and contributing to the wider group of independent practices.
As the newest member of XLVets, Pennard Vets joins a growing community dedicated to supporting one another through collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation in veterinary care.
