Priory Vet Group is a locally owned, independent veterinary hospital proudly serving Christchurch and the surrounding south coast, with fully accredited RCVS facilities in Purewell, Highcliffe, and Bransgore. Since the 1960s, Priory has evolved with the changing needs of our patients and their families, while holding fast to the compassionate ethos and traditional values that remain at our core.

We provide 24-hour care from our Christchurch hospital, including our own dedicated Out-of-Hours (OOH) service for registered clients. Our team also includes certificate holders in ophthalmology, cardiology, surgery, emergency medicine, dentistry, dermatology and anaesthesia, enabling us to deliver truly tailored treatment plans to suit each pet’s needs and every owner’s budget.

As a community-based practice, we take pride in building long-term relationships with pets and their families. Our Priory Pet Club makes preventive healthcare more accessible and affordable, reducing barriers to early advice and treatment, and helping pets stay healthier for longer.

At Priory Vet Group, we blend trusted tradition with modern expertise, putting your pet’s wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
