Independent vets at the heart of your community. Dedicated care for your animals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We have 6 Small Animal practices including hospital facilities at our Didcot, Cholsey and Wantage practices, and local branch surgeries at Great Western Park, Benson, and Sutton Courtenay. We are very excited to be opening our 6th practice in Wantage in 2025.

We are one of the only practices in the area who operate our own pet emergency service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our Didcot practice is open 7 days a week and provides overnight hospitalisation facilities.

With state-of-the-art facilities and an experienced and welcoming team, Larkmead Vets offers our clients and their pets the best veterinary care services available in South Oxfordshire.

We also have a dedicated Large Animal veterinary team with many vets holding post graduate qualifications in farm medicine. These include certificates in pig medicine, cattle health and production, European and RCVS Sheep specialisms and general farm animal practice. The team is headed up by the farm animal partners: Julia James, Adelle Jenkins, and Bella Maine.

Everyone at our practice is committed to providing you with the very best in farm animal healthcare, advice, and training.
