Farm Veterinary Surgeon opportunity, Giles & Parsons Farm Vets, North Cornwall

We have an exciting opportunity for a Farm Veterinary Surgeon with a keen interest in dairy medicine to join our expanding, independent practice in North Cornwall.

Giles & Parsons Farm Vets is a proactive, growing, dairy focussed independent vet practice. Since setting up the practice in 2018, we have grown the business to a team of 5 vets, 4 ATTs/vet techs and a practice administrator. We strive to be a dynamic team, with a proven record of delivering a high-quality service and clinical excellence to our progressive dairy farming clients.

Our vision is to create a practice shaped by our clients’ needs and the ideas and aspirations of our team. By having a clear pathway for progression and ultimately business ownership if desired, we aim to attract, develop, and maintain the very best dairy vet team.

We encourage new ideas and innovative thinking about the future of clinical farm practice and have developed a strong veterinary technician team who support our vets in data gathering, health scoring and TB testing. Days are structured to include dedicated office time to allow time for detailed data analysis and proactive health planning. Further qualifications and CPD opportunities are encouraged and supported by the team.

As active members of XL Vets, we encourage all members of our team to collaborate with the community of likeminded independent practices from across the country.

In addition to offering a competitive salary and benefits package, we are focussed on providing a sustainable work-life balance for all members of the team and enjoy socialising out of work making the most of what the North Cornish Coast has to offer. Our progressive and skilled client base enables our team to have a fulfilling career and a quiet on call.
