Duration: 1 day.
Delegates: All team members who carry out performance reviews or appraisals.
Overview: Begin by focusing on the every-day actions and culture required to enable high performance before concentrating on the performance review itself.
The day will begin by exploring what we mean by high performance, with a clear definition in mind, the session will then move to consider the need for a culture of high performance in which constant feedback and support are key ingredients.
Focus will then be put on the performance review meeting, including what you might do pre and post review and the online resources: templates, information and best practice available. Before a short demonstration of coaching for high performance and an opportunity for each participant to coach and be coached on an area of their own performance at work. All attendees will leave with:
- A personal action plan.
- An outline of a performance review meeting.
- Highlight an area of improvement in your own personal performance.
- Insight into which KPIs work in practice.
- A model that can be used to plan performance reviews.
Between one third and half of the day is discussion based participation and exercises.
Content: Non clinical.
