Shepton Vets is looking for a new graduate to join our friendly team of small animal vets. You will work a 4-day week (plus a supported 1:6-1:8 on-call rota) across both of our well equipped modern branches with in-house endoscopy, laparoscopy and dental radiography facilities. A sensibly managed diary will include 15-30mins consulting appointments plus regular breaks. Weekly ops days will give you the opportunity to get involved with interesting surgeries.
You will be supported by, and learn from, experienced colleagues with certificates in surgery, medicine and exotics as well as a helpful and dedicated nursing team. We host weekly team lunches and regular discussion groups, and you will be encouraged to undertake the XLVets new graduate scheme and other CPD programmes.
We are a very community-focused practice, so you will also have the opportunity to become involved in student vet teaching as well as giving local school talks and taking part in community events. We also like a bit of a get together - from escape room days and summer rounders to a day at the races!
You will receive a competitive salary plus out of hours bonus, company pension scheme, 5 weeks holiday, Bank Holidays and CPD allowance.
