Who are XL Vets?

Who Are XLVets?

XLVets originated as a group of farm animal committed veterinary practices, and as such our policy is to work together, alongside commercial research and manufacturing companies, to share best practice on advice and disease prevention initiatives so providing the first point of call on health management and consultancy advice for our clients. We are interested in the development and creation of markets for the economic advantage and support of our clients' long term future and prosperity.

The group has grown to 35 practices since our inception early in 2005 and we continue to strive to achieve these goals with our farm clients, with hard work and with commitment.

However, we were always aware that, of course, some of the same principles were equally relevant to our companion animal clients, namely a commitment from their vet to provide individual care for them and their animals which was compassionate, value for money and included good communication and the very best veterinary services. As we are all rural based practices, we are either directly involved with companion animals or have colleagues who are, so we are now continuing to develop this model of vets working together to provide further excellence in small animal and equine care.

XLVets is becoming recognised as a "quality mark" associated with the very best veterinary care for your animals.

Part of our ethos is to source and supply the very best quality medicines, products, equipment and accessories for your animals, whether you be a pet owner or a large farming enterprise. To this end we would invite you to browse our online XLVetShop where you will find all your animal health requirements at great value prices.

Should any readers wish to discuss issues they have regarding XLVets, or you belong to a practice who are interested in joining the group, please call any of the directors below or contact admin@XLVets.co.uk directly.
